LAS VEGAS: Last week I was in Las Vegas to attend Cosmoprof, the ultimate international cosmetics industry convention. People from all over the world were there to see and be seen and experience what is new in this industry. Held at Mandalay Bay this mega event includes new products, new ideas, and seminars. Lisa Pisano, Purely Pro’s Midwest manager and George Narcsi, our West Coast manager attended with me. There is energy in Vegas that you pick up as soon as the plane lands. This is a city where make up and drama reigns so it is indeed a perfect setting. George and Lisa targeted putting the finishing touches on our fall launch and capturing some new ideas for the future.

Beverly Hills: During the week I visited our emporium set up at the Oliver Ifergan Salon on Robertson Blvd in Beverly Hills. We are proud to be in this upscale salon. He and his staff do some pretty amazing color and cuts. WE are planning a major party there in October for movie industry makeup artists. Stay tuned for more details…..

Warren, MI: We finished the week at John Laurie’s, Stage 3 Studios in Warren, MI to attend a major event/fund raiser called “Starring You”. This was a celebration of Michigan motion pictures and commercial production benefiting the Gleaner’s food bank and Warren Fire Department. Our local diva, Productions Plus Agent, Olga Denysenko held court at the event with one of our new starlets adorned in body paint. Needless to say she was a sensation.
